The Thirteen in 13 Campaign

In 2013, we are inviting all 13 year olds to write a letter to the Prime Minister to tell him what they think would make a better Britain.

Extracts from the thirteen winning letters will be published in The Times, where David Cameron has also promised to write a response to the 13 winning letters!

We have also developed a pack of curriculum-linked teaching resouces to accompany the campaign.

The pack includes a powerpoint presentation, together with a selection of notes for teachers containing further information, curriculum links and discussion topics.

To access the resources:

  • Download the document below and save to your computer.
  • When you open the document, you will see a powerpoint presentation to use in your class.
  • To view the accompanying teachers notes, please click on 'View' at the top of the screen, and select 'Notes Page'.
