The Anne Frank Trust UK

Using education to create a society safe from prejudice and discrimination

The Anne Frank Trust Annual Lunch 2019

We are very grateful to all of you who were able to join us on Thursday 24 January 2019 at our Annual Lunch – to our wonderful host, Daphne Schild and her family, to all our other sponsors, and to those of you who couldn’t be there in person but kindly made a donation. Thank you so much for your support.

We were honoured to hear from three of our young Anne Frank Ambassadors at the event, and from our guest speaker, LBC radio host, journalist and author James O’Brien. James said:

“Most prejudice is born not from nastiness but from lack of understanding. What the Anne Frank Trust does in its very essence is to help people to the light. Accusations don’t achieve anything: we need illumination and enlightenment.”

The lunch has so far raised a remarkable £442,000, with more donations still to come. If you would like to make a post-event donation, please do so via the JustGiving button below, or via our donate page.
