Virgin London Marathon 2021

Run the most iconic marathon in the world for The Anne Frank Trust UK and help us to create a world free from prejudice and discrimination.

This year the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 3 October is set to be the world’s first 100,000 person marathon, with 50,000 participants on the traditional course joining 50,000 participants in a virtual event around the globe.

Fundraising target: minimum £2,500

Whether you’ve done a marathon before, or you’ve never taken part, this is your chance to run one of the world’s most famous marathons, with thousands of people lining the streets to cheer you on. Join TeamAFT for an exhilarating experience that will stay with you forever.

Do you have your own place?
If you have secured your own place in the event through the official London Marathon ballot, then we would love to have you as part of the team. There is no minimum fundraising target, however anything you raise will go a long way in helping us to support the Anne Frank Trust.

VIRTUAL LONDON MARATHON

Location: Anywhere as long as it’s outside!
Event distance: 26.2 miles
Fundraising target: minimum £500

Your opportunity to take on the world’s greatest marathon on the course of your choice from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59, wherever you are on the planet. You can walk, jog or run the route in whichever way you like, take your time and even take breaks. You will receive an official London Marathon coveted medal and finisher t-shirt!

Our work simply isn’t possible without incredible supporters like you. By running for The Anne Frank Trust UK,  you’re helping us to educate young people about the roots and consequences of prejudice and discrimination, increasing their understanding of and respect for those of different faiths, cultures and identities. As Anne Frank Ambassadors they are trained to become socially aware and active members of society, developing life skills that enable them to recognise and challenge all forms of prejudice and discrimination, and to amplify Anne Frank’s message of social justice and equality for all.
