Attend the Anne Frank Trust Annual Lunch
Jack Morris, CBE, is Chairman of the Business Design Centre Group and a long-time supporter of the Anne Frank Trust UK. A former Chair of the charity, Jack was founding member of our annual lunch committee. Jack’s family established the Morris Charitable Trust in 1989, and in 2016 he was awarded a CBE for services to business and charity in London.
This is what Jack has to say about the Anne Frank Trust Annual Lunch:
“This remarkable event is a staple in my calendar, and over the years I have taken great pleasure in seeing people I’ve introduced to it become regulars themselves. “The Anne Frank Trust Annual Lunch is a very special occasion: it importantly commemorates victims of the Holocaust as well as more recent genocides and acts of hatred, but equally importantly it pays tribute to the indomitability of the human spirit, to our shared humanity, to the power of education, and to the young – in whose hands all our futures lie. “No matter how moved I have been by what I’ve seen and heard at the Lunches I have always left feeling optimistic that there is a solution to discrimination, and that education can bring about a better outcome. “If you care about our society, if you want to see a future for yourselves and your children in which the narrative of hate is replaced with understanding and kindness, and freedom from prejudice, then I urge you to support the Anne Frank Trust – and come to this inspiring and important event.”
