Young Professionals Committee Networking Event
The Young Professionals Committee was established in 2016 to expand event support for the Anne Frank Trust’s mission of creating a society safe from prejudice and discrimination, broadening awareness of our work and building relationships with the next generation of business leaders and future philanthropists.
The Young Professionals Committee’s inaugural networking event was held in March. The sold-out event was attended by young professionals to mingle with like-minded peers and hear from guest speakers Danny Karbassiyoon (former professional football player and scout), and Pippa Murray (founder of health food business Pip and Nut) who shared their own personal experiences of launching business start-ups.
The Anne Frank Trust Young Professionals Committee are hosting their second networking event on 18 October at the offices of Berwin Leighton Paisner, London Bridge, EC4R 9HA. Inspiring guest speakers on the night will be:
Aviation analyst and reporter, Alex launched his career at only 14 years old when he began reporting for LBC, BBC and Sky. He now travels the world in first class, testing planes before they’re delivered to clients.
Graeme co-founded HiyaCar, the Airbnb of car rentals, in 2014. Through crowdfunding and Angel Investment, the company raised £2.2 million over the course of only 12 months. They have established ground breaking Keyless technology, which enables people to book and then lock/unlock cars using their app.
The event kicks off at 7pm on the 18 October in time for evening drinks and networking amongst like-minded professionals across industries, raising money for a cause where support is needed more than ever. Ticket price is £15, inclusive of drinks and booking fees.
There will also be hosting a raffle with some amazing prizes including a £30 Starbucks gift card, a variety of Mindful Bites gift boxes and many more.
Raffle tickets are £5 and can be purchased in advance on the Eventbrite page or at the event. All money raised will help to fund the cost of providing copies of The Diary of Anne Frank to the beneficiaries of our schools programmes.
