In 1963 Otto Frank set up the Anne Frank Fonds as an organisation dedicated to the publication, distribution and usage of the Diary of Anne Frank across the globe.

The Anne Frank Fonds uses its income to engage in charitable, educational and scientific projects to pursue Otto Frank’s commitment to a society free from marginalisation and prejudice.  In particular, the foundation carries out work to strengthen human rights and promote social justice as well as spread the message of Anne Frank’s Diary.  They have funded projects such as the Imagine Festival against Racism in Switzerland and The Warriors of Hope Foundation in Zurich which protects children in Romania and India from life on the streets.

The Anne Frank Fonds is a non-profit foundation and is based in Basel, Switzerland.
